SI #657 — No joke, US Sailing ran their Championship of Champions in RC yachts
SAILING ILLUSTRATED #657 (Tue 24 Oct 2023) — The late Jack A.S. Brown (USA) must be turning over in his grave. Decades ago he donated the trophy for US Sailing's prestigious, annual Championship of Champions for winners of one-design classes. This year, US Sailing decided to run the C of C in radio-control yachts. Predictably, first through fourth overall were reps of RC classes.
