SHORTCUT WORTH TAKING! We are headed from Double Island Point Lagoon to Fraser Island and attempting to take a shortcut through the infamous Wide Bay Bar. The two months at sea have been eventful on our new home, a 50ft Aluminium Catamaran by Lock Crowther. We are doing some boat jobs to the sailboat, doing some spring cleaning, and attempting Fisherman's Passage at the Wide Bay Bar or also called The Mad Mile. We have some beautiful weather so we are taking everything out of the hatches to see what exactly we have onboard. We are a full time liveaboard family with plans on sailing around the world.
