Shipwreck on Siesta Key, FL Public Beach

We happened upon a boater having a bad day. A sailboat caught in a storm ran aground on the sand bar off the shore of one of the world's most beautiful beaches, Siesta Key, FL. The breakers washed the boat all the way onto the public beach. The boat was there for a week as the sea tow team waited to tow it at the highest tide of the week. Using the prop wash from the towing vessels the boat was freed from the shore as curious beach goers watched with interest. Subscribe to get onboard!
