Karl is afloat and all happy again and our buddy boat Joana is nearly ready to head out, too. Maria is waiting in vista Mar for her crew to arrive, her parents. In the meantime, there is one more thing that needs to be done before leaving. With all the holes in the hull lately, my parents were quite persistent in having me service my liferaft. I bought it in 2013 and it’s overdue, so Simon and I drove the heavy bastard down to Colon to have it serviced.
