This was the final stop of Christopher Columbus before his legendary voyage to the Americas. This time, we leave the marina behind and explore the quieter north side of the harbor. From the beach and its unique rock viewpoint towers, we wander through cozy streets and up into the hillside neighborhoods. Along the way, we discover the beautiful Parador Hotel, perched above the harbor with lush gardens and classic Canarian architecture—white-washed walls, dark wooden balconies, and peaceful courtyards. As we climb higher, the town reveals its charm—colorful houses, weathered stone walls, and ever-expanding ocean views. Eventually, we reach a scenic lighthouse viewpoint overlooking the Atlantic. And for the first time, Eivind joins some new friends for a spearfishing adventure… will he bring home dinner, or just a good story? 👉 In the next episode: We hike to stunning viewpoints above the southern side of the bay, where a surprising anchorage spot catches our eye and inspires us to head back out on anchor. Then we travel to Agulo—a picture-perfect village known for its cobbled streets, banana plantations, and storybook charm. Our goal?
