Sailing Vessel Triteia - A Cut Above The Sludge - Episode 5 - Cleaning The Diesel Fuel Tank

On this episode of Sailing Vessel Triteia I cut access ports in the old diesel fuel tank and clean out the sludge that had been living inside for years. I had contacted fuel polishing services about cleaning it while in place but the cost was more than buying a new tank. I decided to take it out, cut an access hole and clean the tank myself. After the cuts and cleaning are done I get to painting the starboard lazarette. I hope you enjoy this episode and if you do please give it a “thumbs up”!
