Sailing the German Coast into the Cities of the Netherlands | Tides Don’t Rest

After two months at sea, we’ve left Stockholm, Sweden behind, crossed the Baltic, and entered the Atlantic through the Kiel Canal. On the way, we even traded sailboats, selling our old 33-foot cruiser and buying a 37-foot Bavaria, better suited for the seas ahead. ⛵️ In this video, we explore the remote island of Helgoland, known for its dramatic cliffs, birdlife, and intense rafting (boats tied together in huge clusters). From there, we sail down the German coast and into the Netherlands to take on the famous Standing Mast Route, a pretty surreal experience where you guide your sailboat like a car, passing through cities, under countless bridges, and even mooring right in the middle of town.
