After all of the work, we decided it was time to finally enjoy ourselves starting by Sailing New England. Our first destination is Mattapoisett. We have spent so much time working that we sometimes forget to enjoy ourselves. Ixion has been in Mattapoisett since last year, yet we haven't taken the time to explore it. So before sailing south to warmer water, we thought we should explore New England some more, starting with our current location. We explore Mattapoisett Harbor and Town Wharf and learn about its connection to Herman Melville & Moby Dick, visit the general store, explore the neighborhood and enjoy the cape cod architecture before finally heading to Neds Point Lighthouse.
