SAILING INDONESIA: MISOOL, RAJA AMPAT

Misool is the SE peninsula of the major island of Batanme in the Province of Raja Ampat, Indonesia. It is considered one of the "4 Kings" of Raja Ampat which really means areas dotted with very special rock formations and natural beauty which in turn make them amazing for cruising, hiking and diving. We cruised Wayag (depicted in the previous video), then Misool and left the other "2 kings" for the future. As I edited this video and looked back at the few days we spent in Misool a feeling of overall incredulousness creeped in. I had to pinch myself to realize it was for real. I said to myself, yes a place like Misool does exist and we explored it with Shaima! And what makes it even more special is that very few boats cruise through it as they are quite a bit North of the typical down wind Tradewinds route across Inodnesia. And, furthermore there are hardly any villages, nor local fishermen around, and very few surviving resorts after Covid so it is basically deserted. So we had Misool and Wayag all for ourselves something that I hope shows in the videos!
