From there, we wander through narrow cobbled streets, lined with artisan shops, quaint cafés, and medieval stone buildings. Along the coast, we visit the Old Port and the ancient Lavatoio Medievale — a beautifully preserved medieval washhouse with freshwater springs flowing through stone basins beneath vaulted arches. Don’t miss the breathtaking views from La Rocca di Cefalù, a dramatic cliff that overlooks the town and offers panoramic vistas of the coastline and cathedral below. At the summit, you’ll find ruins of the Temple of Diana, evidence of Cefalù’s pre-Roman past.
