Sailing Bluefin Ep #4: How to make boat fender covers for FREE using recycled materials – DIY

⛵ Buying fender covers is an aspect of sailing life that most yachties can relate to, but it shouldn't have to be difficult or expensive! We decided to find a way to cover our own fenders for FREE (almost) by using materials we already had on Bluefin. Recycling anything and everything we can on Bluefin is extremely important to us, so in this video we had fun making our new fender covers out of our old exercise leggings. Just one pair of leggings can make you TWO beautiful and funky looking fender covers!!! So why buy them, when you can recycle old leggings that you or your friends already have, and turn them into unique looking fender covers! ⛵ •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• ✂️ List of materials used: - Exercise Leggings (size dependent on the size of your fender, we used size 12- 14 Aus) - Small piece of rope - Scissors - Sewing machine (if desired - see video) Give it a try and post your fender cover creations in the comments below!
