This video is about Sailing Around the World Plans, Nanaimo and Newcastle Island, Ep 16 "Off the Starboard Hull", Lagoon 400 S2 catamaran At the end of May, we were 2 months away form our departure date to travel around the world, living in Nanaimo BC (unfriendly harbour authority staff) and shortly to move to French Creek Marina in Parksville (a great place with friendly, welcoming people in a mainly fishing marina!). We did an offshore trial into the Pacific Ocean for a few days - this we will cover soon. Stay tuned! Update: Laurie was ejected from the boat in late April 2019 after almost 3 glorious years of exploring and discovery. She is now back in BC with family and friends.
