Sailing across the Cook Strait of New Zealand in an Amel Super Maramu.

Sailing from South Island,Tory Channel, to North Island, Wellington, through the Cook Strait. This passage has a reputation as being unpredictable, challenging & frequently dangerous. This past week, large rail and passenger ferries that make constant trips have been canceled due to the dangerous and uncomfortable conditions. After some careful planning though, we had a glamour crossing. #sailing #amel #newzealand
