Sailing 8 DAYS to a reef in the middle of the ocean (Minerva Reef) | S6:E14

In this week's episode we finish sailing 8 days to a reef in the middle of the ocean! If you tuned in last week, you saw us battle the vicious ocean as we completed the first half of our crossing to Minerva Reef. The crew totally broke down and we were on the verge of quitting and turning back to New Zealand. Luckily we pushed through and stayed determined to make it to Minerva Reef - the reef that is literally in the middle of the ocean and very far from any landform. Despite being in much higher spirits, we still dealt with a LOT of problems on the second half of the trip. The beautiful thing about sailing is that, despite all the scary and dangerous things that happen out on the open ocean, there is always gold at the end of the rainbow. Always something beautiful to see or experience.
