More THUNDERSTORMS, the Birthday Boy tries to SEVER HIS OWN TOE, and we MOTOR SAIL on FUMES towards WEST END!! Very shortly after waking up to heavy rain and wind, hauling anchor, and sailing towards West End, Grand Bahama, Eric takes a little slip and very nearly cuts his own toe off! It was bone deep and required some flesh readjustment, butterflies, and massive amounts of gauze, but he puts himself together again while Loren assists. Undaunted we proceed to have a beautiful sail (and a Happy Birthday) towards West End, all the while sipping fuel during the light wind spots, keeping our fingers crossed not to run out before reaching our destination.
