S2E9 Living on a sailboat and fixing the engine The Boat Life Sailing travel vlog

sv Dodi no longer has an overheating issue. We have been struggling with this issue from day one of season 2. We did our best to flush out, clean out, eliminate engine problems that might have been causing the overheating. We finally called out a professional marine diesel mechanic. We change the oil, the transmission fluid, and the coolant. We checked the heat exchanger, we cleaned the seacock, we replaced some hoses and we cleaned the mixing elbow on our trusty yanmar diesel engine. None of it looked bad enough to be the issue, but when we were finished the motor ran perfectly and it had a lot more water flow. That's The Boat Life! Thanks for watching. This is The Boat Life.
