Philippines - Palawan - Puerto Princesa Subterranean River

If you visit Palawan, do not miss a tour on the longest navigable cave in the world. It is also one of the NEW wonders of the world. You can either take a day tour departing from Puerto Princesa: it will take about 2h to get to Sabang on the west coast of Palawan. From there you will have a short boat ride (10min) to the beach and the departing point on the river. Regular tours are about 45min and cover 1,5km of river. If you are keen of exploring more of the river and be less crowded, take the long tour that take about 2h15 to cover 4,3km of river (you need to apply for special permit at the PP river office beforehand).
