Our generator BURNED UP! [How we get it fixed in FIJI]

We arrived in Fiji three weeks ago and ran straight into the funnest part of boating. The boatwork. :) Our generator blew up on us at Minerva reef so in the first two weeks of being here we craned the entire generator out of the boat, fixed it, and then craned it back in and hooked it back up. I had never taken a generator out of a boat before but we figured it out without to many major problems. Our starboard engine was also leaking fuel from a cracked injector (something happened to it while in the yard in NZ). A new one arrived via Fedex from the US and I figured out how to remove the old one and install the new one mostly headache free again! I am finding boatwork very satisfying. While waiting for the generator to come back we made it out to Musket Cove for the week-end and I got to test drive my new scooter. :) Sooooo fun! The kids are loving Fiji so far. There are tons of kids in the one anchorage we've made it to so far! We're all looking forward to more exploring.
