We have travelled at least 40 islands around Thailand and Koh Phayam, an island close to the Myanmar border, is so far has been the very best. A spectacular island with soft sand, long beaches, small huts on the beaches, amazing food, no cars on the road, no 7/ 11, a beautiful Buddhist temple with a mix of parties Koh Phayam is a must! Along time favourite with seasoned cruisers it has an excellent anchorage with good holding excellent little shacks with cheap good food and showers it's not surprising that Koh Phayam has quickly became our favourite island so far...
