This year we embark on the journey back to northern Europe - from the Canary islands via the Azores to Ireland and beyond! We now face our greatest challenge on this sailing journey, as we not only embark on our longest crossing yet, but also the most challenging one. Sailing from the Azores to Ireland is no down-wind champagne sailing holiday, rather it entails facing everchanging weather patterns and beating against the prevailing winds and conditions.
