OUR BOAT ENGINE ATTRACTS REEF SHARKS: SAILING to NAVADRA ISLAND FIJI

Episode 069 The Mamanuca Islands are a volcanic archipelago and consist of approximately 20 islands and are a popular tourist destination. They have stunning coral sand beaches, crystal clear waters, and coral reefs. Their natural beauty has made them favourite among the film industry. The movie Castaway was filmed here as well as the long running television series Survivor. Mololo Island where Musket Cove is also forms part of the Mamanuca Islands. Today, we’d be sailing to Navadra and Vanua Levu Islands, approximately 9 nautical miles south of the Yasawa Islands. What we didn't know however, was that the reef sharks would be attracted by our boat's engine. We hope you enjoy it! As always, thanks for watching.
