NEAR COLLISION SAILING BLIND in FOG This week, we continue our journey up Namibia's Skeleton Coast, navigating 50 fog-filled miles to Wallis Bay, our final anchorage in Africa before crossing the Atlantic Ocean. Sailing this coast is never easy but sailing in dense fog is no joke. With no radar and an unreliable AIS signal, we're left relying on sharp eyes, gut instinct and a little help from our buddy boat @sailingexcelsior , when a fishing trawler appeared (and disappeared!) on a collision course that raises the anxiety levels.
