Kath's Mum (Jube) tells us about her Atlantic Ocean crossing in the 80s with Dame Naomi and Robert James. A 3,200 nautical mile passage they completed in a 53ft sailing yacht, from Newport Rhode Island to Cowes. Mum talks of humpback whales, 50ft waves, sailing under bare poles for three days and what it felt like to learn that the boat had a 90% chance of being knocked down.
