MONKEY POINT - Guana Island, British Virgin Islands

The locals told us that while the tourists where away — during the pandemic travel restrictions — the Virgin Island wildlife had prospered unlike anything they’ve seen before. The fish, the birds, everything that makes the islands wild and full of life… had returned. Maybe to take the place of the missing humans who had loved this place to death. What does that tell us about our impact on the natural world? Is it still possible to just let the wild world be wild?
