Mission Accomplished: 2,340 Nautical Miles Powered Only by Sunlight

In this final leg of the season, we sail from the beautiful town of Parga to Preveza, our goal for the year! This marks the end of an incredible journey: 2,340 nautical miles from just outside Venice, Italy, through the islands of Croatia, back into Italy, and across to Greece… all without plugging in to charge a single time. Our small solar powered catamaran has carried us the entire way, proving that with the right setup, you can cruise long distances using nothing but the sun. Along the way in this episode, I sail without the motors running, only the second time ever, and get a surprise when I arrive in Preveza to discover they didn’t know my boat was a catamaran… even though I sent them a picture!
