“Missing Sailor” Running From Hurricane Polo - Pt.1

Hurricane Polo was forecasted to make landfall in Mexico TWICE! As a Category 1 hitting the pacific coast of the Baja, crossing over the Baja, and again making landfall on a direct path with my boat in San Carlos! So, naturally, the countdown was on and the planning began for both preparing our home for a tropical cyclone, and for getting the boat out of the path of a potentially very damaging storm. What no one expected was that a series of relatively minor circumstances, in isolation, would combine to result in a search my me “missing at sea”!
