🌊🌀 What a week aboard Salty Abandon—and now I'm back in Gulf Shores preparing for a hurricane! ⛵ Monday: Woke up in Marathon 🐊 Tuesday: The Everglades ⚓ Wednesday: Naples 🏡 Friday: Gulf Shores, Alabama! I'm down at the public beach checking out the building waves and storm preparations. The National Shrimp Festival setup has been dismantled, storm command is on site, and Gulf Shores is getting ready! 🚨🌊💨 Salty Abandon is safely tucked away in Naples while Tuxey, Mango, and I are back home preparing to ride out the hurricane. 🐈🐈❤️ I've stocked up on groceries, prescriptions, gasoline, and fuel stabilizer. This will also be my first hurricane without my husband, so it's a little different this time. ❤️ ⚡ AND WAIT UNTIL THE END! My Honda 8,000-watt generator hasn't been started since Hurricane Sally in 2020! I bought it after Hurricane Ivan in 2004.
