While sailing from Mindelo, Cabo Verde , Africa, to St. Lucia in the Caribbean, we hooked a gorgeous mahi-mahi in perfect conditions, great for our first time attempting to land such a large fish. Antics ensued, no fingers were lost and no persons overboard, thank Neptune.
