Launching Our 30 Ft Sailboat - Ep. 12 [Sailing Ixion]

After months of refits, it's finally time to begin launching our 30 ft electric sailboat Ixion. We are one step closer to beginning our journey sailing around the world starting with Cape Cod. Water floats our boat, wink wink nudge nudge. Before we can watch the boat get lowered into the water, we have to finish installing some electronics. What would an electric motor be without modern day systems to compliment it? Of course though, the boat projects continue! First one on the water is removing a pole that got stuck in our mast. Electric Motor Conversion, Fresh coat of bottom paint, and fancy new electronics. We are almost ready to begin our sail south to Florida!
