In this well protected anchorage we met an amazing cruising community and traveled as much as we could. Every day here can be filled with exploring hidden beaches, beautiful vistas on the mountains above, and blow holes on abandoned resorts, that shoot waves right into the sky! Check out the some of the best things to do in and around this well protected hurricane hole and meet some of the crazy fun cruisers/sailors/pirates we adventured with during hurricane season. We also took a trip to Alex's Peace Corps site on the east coast, and made pit stops to provision in Santo Domingo and Santiago along the way. For sailors who are thinking to sail/cruise these waters maybe these travel tips can be of use to you too!
