Huge milestone day...time to remove the mast! Episode 30 #sailboatrefit

A huge part of our refit involves giving the mast some much needed attention. In addition to maintaining and replacing the hardware, we have to tackle the "C" word...CORROSION! We could do the work with the mast in place, but in order to really do the job right, we're bringing the mast down. The process is made more complicated by some stubborn hardware, but the experts at Zimmerman Marine are getting it done.
