How do we get out of this? Colorful coral, coconut crab, and more! Ep 116
Sailing in the Tuamotus we tasted coconut crab, and saw signs of colorful coral bleaching. Learn what colorful coral may be telling us. With help from a friend sailing on an older Outremer 55 , we fix the halter to the mainsheet that broke during an upwind sail. Enjoy the beautiful waters of the Makemo atoll with us! Our favorite charity that we support is THE CURE ALLIANCE, a foundation working to find a cure to vascular lesions in the brain, called CCMs (for cerebral cavernous malformations). Awareness of this disease is important, and we invite you to learn more on their web site. https://www.alliancetocure.org/newly-diagnosed/cavernoma-cavernous-angioma-malformation-fast-facts/ If you want to help find a cure, the link is here : https://angioma.networkforgood.com/projects/169422-support-lisa-s-chosen-charity Any level of support from our BioTrek-sailing audience to help find a cure from this devastating neurological disease will be greatly appreciated by the foundation.
