We are prepping the boat for departure, slide out of our marina berth, make a last stop at the fuel wharf, and then point the bow south toward the Whitsundays. With full tanks and big smiles, we set off straight into it on an overnight sail—leaving the docks behind and chasing that offshore feeling once again. This is one of those special sailing days where everything clicks: the crew is back together, the boat is ready, and the horizon is calling.
