From dream to disaster. Sailing Tasmania's East Coast. Hobart to Launceston

From the harbour cruise in Hobart to the rough seas between Cape Raoul and Cape Barren Island, I experience the beauty and challenges of nature. I encounter Seals Island, the beauty of Maria Island, granite coastal landscapes on Schouten Island and get lost in the jungle. On the last day, the circumnavigation of Tasmania is overshadowed by a gale, stranding, rudder damage and a leak in my boat, Reykja, in Pilots Bay. Can I get back to Europe in time before the hurricane season starts?
