At the time we were unsure if going on land or not was permitted, so we opted to stay away from land and obey the rules, which meant staying on the boat and only exploring uninhabited islands and venturing out in the dinghy. Before living on a boat, I would have thought 14 days in a small space would have been very difficult! But we have gotten so use to close living, and have set up our little routines that it is now a way of life. The only time it felt small was when it was raining, which it did a lot of! But we have now set up our outdoor screens which keeps the cockpit dry, and gives us an extra room! Although it is still very warm in there! In the mornings we got a lot of school revision done, as well as a couple boat jobs. During the afternoon we explored our surroundings, from mangroves, beaches and surf spots. We even met a few cheeky monkey's! We ended up have a great time! After being in the marina for so long the boys had gotten very use to having wifi on demand, so towards the end of the 14 days they were itching to go on land. To be honest so were we! The two weeks flew by, and looking back we did so much! We are loving being back at anchor, and can't wait to see more of Panama and be able to sail off to the San Blas islands, when they open!
