Exploring Tonga and Swimming with Giants S9 ep4

Welcome back to the channel, and we can't wait for you to see this video. Not because of the sailing (there was plenty of that in the last video), but because we explore the underside of Tonga in a way that we just couldn't believe. The diving there was spectacular, but swimming with the humpback whales takes the cake. In the video, I think I mentioned that Tonga is the only place in the world you can do this, and it turns out there are few others, but it is extremely rare. We spent a whole day on a private dive boat learning about these creatures and how to interact with them without bothering them. It's mostly mothers and their calves, with a couple of male protectors swimming with them. We had the most amazing time. We also enjoyed Tonga's laid-back, casual vibe, and geologically speaking, it is a really rare series of canals dug into this land mass to create these little fjords, just unusual.
