Episode 69. Safety at Sea for Lennie and Me (US Sailing)

Hi Everyone, Lennie and I decided to take some formal safety training and we learned a lot while having a great time at SUNY maritime college in New York City. This US Sailing class includes a hands on field day along with an online course that was really fascinating. Seems amazing we cruised 12000 miles without taking this course and believe me we were probably not as well prepared as we thought for safety. I think the biggest takeaway was all the radio comm info along with life jacket training. It's hard to explain just how much info is packed into this course and I encourage anyone who boats to take it.
