episode 3: summer friday’s first sail

We’ve anxiously been waiting to leave the marina in Fort Lauderdale that we’ve called home for the past two months and the time has finally come! After the boat work and minor set backs, we head south to Dinner Key in Biscayne Bay (the further south, the better for our crossing to The Bahamas). We encountered a lot of firsts on the short trip - first time maneuvering summer friday out of our narrow marina, first visit to a fuel dock, first dolphin sighting and first seasick cat 🙁.
