After sailing from Australia to New Caledonia the 30 boats who joined the "Down Under Rally" for 2019 anchored at L'Escapade on Ilot Maitre in the southern lagoon close to Noumea. The resort is a stunning location with bungalows raised on stilts over the sea. This was to be the base for the End of Rally Party and Awards presentation.
