Episode 104 - 2026 Annapolis Fall Sailboat Show

We’re back at what many consider the sailing event of the year, the Annapolis Fall Sailboat Show. This year, our mission was simple: reconnect with friends, enjoy the countless gatherings and parties, and hopefully stumble across a bargain or two. The Annapolis Harbor Construction and City Dock Resiliency & Revitalization Project continues to dominate the waterfront. Ongoing construction has consumed much of the space traditionally occupied by vendor tents. The project's stated goal is flood prevention by holding back the tides. As the bureaucrats call it, "resiliency." As sailors call it, "good luck with that." While Toni and I didn’t come home with any spectacular boat show deals, we more than made up for it in other ways. We spent time with old friends, met new members of the Seawind family, explored the latest boating innovations, and made the rounds at a variety of boat show parties. The Annapolis Fall Sailboat Show remains the place where the sailing community gathers each year to catch up, check out what’s new, and, perhaps most importantly, see and be seen.
