Ep3 Fishing, Fossils & Dolphins - Birthday Wishes Come True! - Sailing Someday

In this episode, we settle into daily life aboard with a schedule of school, boat work and fishing. We celebrate Adler’s 6th birthday with two great adventures (we try to give experiences rather than gifts like toys). We went fossil hunting on the Peace river and we went on a fishing trip in the canal between Estero Island and the reserve (thanks to Grandma Kathy for this one!) Fossil Hunting We went fossil hunting with Fred Mazza at Paleo Discoveries. We paddled up the Peace river in canoes and spent hours digging in the river bed for fossils. Gabby found a megaladon tooth and we found many more fossils including shark teeth, sting ray teeth, turtle shell bones and more! Ryan from Goodtime Charters was a great captain. He was good to work with, friendly and worked with us on the price. Very good value for the quality of workmanship and the rigging itself. This was a done over the course of a couple of weeks.
