E199 - Sailing to Penang: Catching Fish, Cuts, and Dusky Leaf Monkeys

We continue our Sail Malaysia Rally with a passage from Langkawi to Penang, and this leg was full of surprises! 🐟⛵ Not long after setting sail, we hooked our first ever fish—but in the chaos of trying to bring it aboard, Chris ended up with a nasty cut on his foot and the fish got away. Thankfully, the ocean gave us a second chance with a beautiful Spanish mackerel, which made for an epic fresh dinner! We arrived into Straits Quay Marina and took time to explore the vibrant island of Penang—famous for its incredible street art, rich culture, and stunning views from Penang Hill, where we met some of the cutest locals: the adorable Dusky Leaf Monkeys. 🐒🎨 Join us as we sail, fish, explore, and discover another unforgettable part of Malaysia!
