E145 - Back To The Pacific, New Caledonia and Vanuatu Here We Come

We consider our options for this season and decide to head back to the Pacific and visit New Caledonia and Vanuatu. With just 3 weeks until our planned departure date we complete our annual boat maintenance, provision for 4 months, get our Australian Border Force clearances including a new requirement to export our yacht before heading off. With Tony & Margaret from No Tears joining us for an easy 5 day sail across we arrive at Noumea and celebrate our safe and successful ocean crossing. We’re Chris and Jo and we have been living on our Seawind 1260 since January 2019. In our first year we bring our yacht down the east coast of Australia and sail it out to New Caledonia. After cruising further north up the east coast of Australia in 2020, we decide to circumnavigate Australia during 2021 and 2022. We had previously owned fishing and water skiing boats, but after a couple years crewing in South Australia we decided to jump right in and make a sea change.
