DIY Wiring a Catalina 30 [ Electric Sailboat Conversion ] - Ep. 09 [ Sailing Ixion ]

Now that we finished our electric sailboat conversion, it was time to finish our DIY wiring of a Catalina 30, electric motor, and continue our electric system upgrade. Not only were we installing an electric sailboat motor, but we also decided to install a new battery bank with two Tesla batteries. Additionally we installed a new Victron converter/inverter to ensure we had the most versatile system possible. Doing a massive electrics system upgrade was quite the challenge, and something neither of us had ever really done before. So join us as we both, yet again, do something new for the first time.
