DIY Reefing Line Replacement - Lagoon 46 Sailing Catamaran

We replaced all 3 reefing lines on our Lagoon 46 Catamaran, here's how we did it! The standard reefing lines being too thick for the rest of the rigging is a common problem on some catamarans, Lagoon 46s included. This leads to extra work when hoisting and lowering, lines hanging out the bag while the sail is down, and of course, a safety concern with increased time and difficultly to reef. Here's how we bonded our brand new Dynema lines to our old lines, ran them through the rigging as a replacement, and and got the sail up and down in record time.
