How far can you take a dinghy..... on ONE 5gal tank of gas? What sort of sea states and ocean conditions can it survive with it's occupant intact and comfortable? What does the ENTIRE island of Saint Martin look like? Well, I was determined to find out with my brand new Highfield 310! The Highfield 310 is a 10'2" hypalon RIB dinghy I hoist behind my 38' sailboat "Adventureborne" while sailing the high seas. It needs to be light enough to hoist, but strong enough to survive the open ocean on extreme adventures like this. So I decided to put it to the test! All forty two nautical miles worth of test! Because of this, I got to see and explore more than I ever thought this island had to offer. Showing me just how far a simple dinghy can go if you're able and willing to go on an epic adventure.
