E230 - 1,500 Nautical Miles Across the Indian Ocean | Phuket to Maldives

Just one month after completing the repairs from our devastating lightning strike, it's finally time to put No Regrets II to the test. In this episode, we pull anchor in Phuket and set sail west on our 1,500-nautical-mile Indian Ocean crossing to Malé, Maldives. Thankfully, we're rewarded with beautiful downwind sailing, with only one minor maintenance issue along the way—a welcome change after replacing so much of the boat's electrical and navigation systems. Ten nights later, we make landfall in the Maldives, completing our first major ocean crossing since the lightning strike and proving that No Regrets II is ready for her next adventure.
