Crossing Queensland's Wide Bay Bar in 3m swell ! (Ep.13) | Sailing ARGO

In April 2025, we crossed the Wide Bay Bar – one of the five most dangerous bar crossings in Queensland. With a 3.1m swell, we braced ourselves for the very rocky, rolly, wave-breaky ride across the passage. We entered the bar an hour before the high and our 38’ sailing catamaran made it through fine – despite having waves breaking on all sides of us.
