In this video, COVID-19 Lockdown and Sailing Samana, Dominican Republic, we sail from Luperon to Samana Dominican Republic and enjoy a few days checking out the local scene before the country goes in to a COVID-19 lockdown, closing the boarders so we can't leave for 2 weeks. During this time they allowed us to visit the National Park of Las Haitises in the Bahia de San Lorenzo area of Samana Bay. This park is famous for the filming of Jurassic Park and Pirates of the Caribbean. We do some hiking trails and explore some ancient caves complete with cave art drawings.
