Caribbean Reef Sharks of Armageddon

One of the Caribbean’s best kept secrets, the island of St Croix is almost completely surrounded by a barrier reef offering some of the best diving in the Virgin Islands. In this video we explore one of our favorite dive sites, located just off of St Croix's West shore. Devastated by Hurricane Hugo in 1989, the remains of St Croix‘s original Frederiksted Pier were gathered and sunk in Butler Bay at depths of 80-100 ft, creating an artificial reef for Caribbean Reef Sharks and named Armageddon.
